Fethiye-Marmaris
Ağa Harbor… It is a harbor that you will not want to leave with its cool and magnificently clear sea due to its underwater source close to the beach. You can walk to the ruins of the Roman and Byzantine periods from the path along the coast. It is called Big Bay to its west and Little Bay to its northwest. This bay is also the first stopover/accommodation point for boats returning from Fethiye to Marmaris.
Ekincik Bay… Between Dalaman and Marmaris, at the northern end of Köyceğiz Harbor, Ekincik Bay is the most popular destination of the blue cruises. This bay is visited by many celebrities from all over the world. My Marina, which was opened as a restaurant at the old mining pier at the entrance of Ekincik Bay in 1986, was later converted into a small marina by adding a pier with a capacity of approximately 70 boats. Serçe Harbor… It is an extremely sheltered natural harbor located in Yeşilova Bay, between Marmaris and Bozburun, in the south of the peninsula. Located between steep, high and rocky hills, it almost resembles a canyon. Although it is generally sheltered from all winds, it may be necessary to watch out for heavy downpours from mountain cliffs from time to time. It is one of the most important destinations for blue cruise passengers due to its extraordinary beauty and sparkling sea.
Bozukkale (Loryma)… Bozukkale Harbor is one of the most important stopping points for blue cruise boats and yachts, with its sheltered location against the wind. The Gulf had strategic importance due to its location in history. In 1412 BC, the Athenian navy stayed here and gathered here again before the naval battle of Knidos in 395 BC. There are restaurants serving blue cruise boats and sailing boats in the bay today. It is surrounded by bare mountains and the winds descend from the slopes with occasional showers. Today, Knidos can only be reached by sea; just as it was thousands of years ago. Knidos is the only city left on land after Halicarnassus was removed from Dor Hexapolis (Six cities). The holiest place of Dor Hexapolis, the temple of Apollo is located here.
Kumlubük… Kumlubük is famous for its beautiful sandy beach and fishermen’s restaurants alongside the beach. The best seafood of the region is cooked and served here. The view is impressive. Kumlubuk beach and hills have the best tracks for nature walks and ecotourism. The cave, which you come across while walking from the Kumlubuk coast to the southeast, surprises everyone. This cave is believed to have been the first settlement 5 thousand years ago. Its entrance is about 4 meters. There are galleries, stalactites and stalagmites inside. Since it was newly discovered, just like the one in Paradise Island cave, no researches have been conducted yet.
Orhaniye… Orhaniye is one of the most important tourism centers on the coast of Hisarönü Bay. Yachts arriving in Hisarönü Bay spend the night in Orhaniye. The sea is always flat here. The color of the surrounding pine forest reflects to the water, which gives a unique color to the sea. The environment is so calm that when you leave yourself in the water, you will hear nothing but the sound of swimming. By the way, people walking in the middle of the sea might be surprising for you. As a result of the dune movements, a shallow area was formed, starting from the land and dividing the bay into two. The 600-meter strip is called Kızkumu. There are monastery ruins next to the Martı Marina and Hotel facilities, which are located in Keçibükü at the entrance of Orhaniye Bay, where yachts are accommodated and maintained in summer and winter.
Selimiye… An infinite silence reigns in Selimiye. Those who want to have a holiday away from the crowds would become regulars of this holiday resort. Selimiye is a town surrounded by greenery. The sea is clean and generally calm. It does not have a very large beach. Bozburun Peninsula is within the borders of the Aegean region, Muğla province, Marmaris district. It is in the southern part of the Datça Peninsula extending in the southwest direction, in the southern part of Marmaris. The peninsula, which was called Carian Chersonesos in ancient times, is also known as Trakheia Chersonesos, which means stony peninsula in Greek, due to its geographical features. It has strategic importance as one of the three peninsulas intruding from Anatolia towards the Mediterranean. Rhodes Island is 17 km south of the peninsula, and Symi (Simi) Island is located 7.5 km west of the peninsula. The city of Marmaris is located in the eastern part of the peninsula, where it connects to the Datça Peninsula.
