Ağa Harbor… You wouldn’t like to leave this harbour after seeing its cool and magnificently clear sea because of its underwater source close to the beach. You can walk to the ruins of the Roman and Byzantine periods from the path along the coast. It is called Big Bay to its west and Little Bay to its northwest. This bay is also home to boats returning from Fethiye to Marmaris.

Rhodes Island… It is an island with the city of Rhodes, which is considered the main center, and many holiday resorts. There are traces of knights on the island creating an unusual atmosphere. Since the people of Rhodes have been earning their living from tourism for ages, they offer anything you can look for in the name of a holiday.
Note: We recommend you to spare at least 2 days for Rhodes considering its historical richness.
Rhodes city: There are many places to see in Rhodes. With its houses and narrow streets, the whole place is worth seeing. Temple of Apollo, Mandraki Harbour and Ancient Theatre are especially the ones to see. The streets, churches, palaces carrying the traces of the Knights of St. John and the mosques bearing Turkish names are among the structures worth seeing.
Rhodes city is divided into two as “Old city” and “New city” in a way that can be noticed even at first glance. The Old City on Rhodes Island is the main tourist attraction.
The Old City is built inside a medieval castle consisting of 6 gates. It attracts attention with the events that took place centuries ago, the narrow streets where the cavaliers roamed, the mystical atmosphere of the castle and the structures in it.
Archaeological museum: This place, which was used as a hospital for knights in the past, has now been turned into a museum. The most striking thing in the museum is the Aphrodite Statue and historical remains.
The street called “The Street of the Knights” has now been converted into a museum. In the time of the knights, it was used as an inn for the accommodation of knights from other countries.
Mandraki Harbor: The Rhodes Statue used to be located here. There are currently two deer statues, “Elefos” and “Elafina”, symbolizing the Rhodes Statue. There are now excursion and diving boats in this port which was used as a commercial harbour in the past. You can take tours to its beautiful bays with boats departing from the port and, heading to places where diving centers are located and engage in many sports activities.
The New City, on the other hand, is adorned with new buildings and many shopping malls. You can visit many churches and mosques in the New City. It is a very nice area for long walks, especially on the coast. The beach you come across when you continue from “Kum Burnu” is the most famous Elli beach of Rhodes.
Rhodes Statue: The Statue of Rhodes, one of the 7 wonders of the world, is a 30-meter-high sculpture that took 12 years to build. One foot stretched out to one end of the port and one foot to the other, and ships arriving at Mandraki Harbor would enter the city through the feet of this statue. However, this statue was destroyed by an earthquake after 50 years of standing.
Beaches: Rhodes Island is generally famous for its beaches. You can swim in the sea on all four sides of the island. Although Rhodes City is in the city centre, “Elli Beach” in the north-east of the city and “Ixia Beach” in the west are among the blue flag beaches. There are also many diving centers in Rhodes, which makes Rhodes a popular destination for those interested in water sports.
Butterfly Valley: Imagine a colourful place where thousands of butterflies coexist! The wings of tiny butterflies are bright and colourful, but unfortunately they have a one-day life. Isn’t this a proof that you will see a different view each day in Butterfly Valley?
Faliraki Region: This holiday resort, located 15 kilometres north of Rhodes Island, has managed to attract many tourists so far. The place, which was vineyards and orchards once, is now a holiday city with its beautiful beaches and lively life. You can enjoy sunbathing on its magnificent sands, taste delicious meals at the restaurants and cafes on the beaches, and participate in all kinds of sea activities. There are also many sports activities such as go-kart, bungee-jumping for thrill seekers. You can have fun moments in the “Aqua Park” and enjoy the hot water in the very famous hot springs.
Lindos District: Lindos, a village in the east of the island, is one of the main tourist attractions. It is a very popular place with its white houses, narrow streets, castle on the hill and the city view it offers. One of the fun options to reach the castle is to travel on donkeys. Another beautiful aspect of this experience is the landscape that will be laid under your feet after a journey on donkey back.

Halki Island: It is a small mountainous island with a surface area of 28 km, inhabited by about 400 people. In addition to its wonderful climate and kind people, it offers an unforgettable holiday environment with its pleasant houses around a beautiful harbor, fishing boats in the small harbor and the mountain scenery in the background. It is approximately 35 miles from the island of Rhodes.
Tilos Island: It is a charming Greek island with a population of 300, located between the islands of Nisyros and Halki. Thanks to the lack of tourism here, you can enjoy the quiet island life and mingle with the islanders, visit the old wall ruins surrounding the town square, visit the museum, necropolis and Megalo Chorio, and swim in its crystal clear waters. The distance between the islands of Halki and Tilos is about 17 miles.
Nisyros Island: It is located in the middle of the Dodecanese Islands. You can take a crater tour on the island, try fig raki and an island-specific drink made from almonds, beautify with a face mask made from the mud of the volcano, which is sold in tiny jars, and taste the unique taste of calamar and red mullet. Moreover, the island has a very rich fauna which is said to be unique. The distance between Nisyros and Tilos Islands is about 15 miles.
Symi Island (Sömbeki): In the north, there is the island of Nimos with a length of 2 miles in the east-west direction, and the island of Seskli with a length of one mile at the south end. The island is famous for its sponge. The distance between Rhodes and Symi Island is 25 miles. The island has a sheltered harbor. It’s one of the must-see islands of the tour.
Greek Island in Kaş District
Meis Island (Kastelorizo, Megisti): Just less than 2.1 km from Kaş, Meis is the smallest of the Twelve Islands. Its only settlement is the village of Kastellorizo (Megisti) on the east coast. Sponge fishing is the most important occupation on the island. There is a small amount of grapes and olives cultivation as well.
Note: Meis Island can be visited on the Fethiye/Kekova route, away from other Greek islands.
